I would favor GEDCOM 5.5. S/he should be able to make it for you and send it to you. Legacy will import a GEDCOM 5.5 file without any problem, but if you plan to import this into your database *please* play it safe and open the Gedcom in a new file by itself and see if you really want to import it into your file.
