Dermot For your mother, I would use Mary-Ellen Patricia "Patricia" to signify her main name as Patricia. In reports you can select to use quoted names in narratives or to remove them. I have been known by my middle name all my life. Only the IRS (Internal Revenue Service, for you non USA people) and the police call me by my first name. Ordinarily, I put nicknames such as "Patti" in quotes but in this instance I would put Patti as an AKA to specifically show in the name field that she went by the name Patricia.
