When you are looking at the window for "My Documents," click on the folders
tab so you can see the directory structure. The root directory is what is
on your primary hard drive (usually "C:") and it will be found under the "My
Computer" icon in the folders pane (although you may have to click on My
Computer to expand the folders below it).

If you leave your data files in the subdirectory under Legacy (as is the
default), you will also avoid the "My Documents" fiasco. And, if you have a
very simple directory structure and not too many picture links, then using
"test all multimedia paths" may work well for you. Personally, I don't want
to have to reset hundreds of links to photos.
