I've been trying a program called Genota, which has a correspondence log of 
sorts, though I haven't done much experimentation with that feature yet. It 
links to Legacy files. You can find more about it here.

I myself use a database program to record the letters I write and the replies 
I receive. The difficulty is remembering to enter the information! But I can 
get it to list the letters to which I haven't received replies.
