Steve, Would creating an event called Biography & another event called General Notes work for you?
This is how I do it. This way I can attach pictures and sources to them. I have made more than 1 event for a person called Biography. For an example, for my grandmother, I have 4 events called Biography. The description line in each describes who wrote the biographical piece about her and the date (or approximate date) they wrote it. Along with the Biographies, I have attached a photo of the person who authored the particular biography.
