The general notes is fine for general notes -- I don't need a special event 
for that. But it contains disconnected jottings and items of interest, and so 
when i find them, I don't know where to put them because I try to keep the 
notes field for a biography. I usually end up keeping them in another 
program, but if I want to share the info with other researchers that means 
sending them two reports, one from Legacy and one from the other program

OK, but I want one of a biography that I write, a kind of summary from all 
the others.
