Hi Gene,
Locations are kept in the Master Location list and if you edit it
there, it changes all uses of that location.
One way of getting to the Master Location list is
View > Master Lists - Location
If, on the other hand, you have a consistent spelling error for a
state or county that is used by a number of locations you can use
Search and Replace by searching on the right fields. Watch all the
options to make sure you choose the ones for your situation.
Search > Search and Replace.
Find where? Lists - Location
You may also need to search and replace in Lists - Location Short
