Alejandro DeSimone, son of Italian immigrants, married Bridget McAllister, of Irish extraction. In the Family View, side by side their names appear as Alejandro DESIMONE and Bridget McALLISTER. What I want to see is Alejandro DeSIMONE and Bridget McALLISTER. I am using Legacy 5, 20 Jan 2006 build. In Options > Customize >, for Letter Case of Surname I have checked "Don't change what I enter," for Displaying Surnames I have checked "Show SURNAMES in upper case letters." In the Surname Master List the surname appears as DeSimone. On the Individual view it appears as DeSimone. In the name list it appears as DESIMONE while all the McAllisters appear as McALLISTER. Why can't I get the De part of DeSIMONE to appear in upper and lower case as Mc part of McALLISTER does? -- Alice
