Graham, I'll try to absorb more of what you've said after I get back from work this evening (now that we don't feel obliged to watch Ch 9) but noting what you say about what happens to the "van DER WYST" and "van Der WYST" situations and how the system might override them to in the same style, perhaps a way to overcome that is to slip an extra character space between the van and before the DER then Legacy would perhaps read them as 2 separate names. (Sorry about the long sentence.)
