Maybe you have answered your own question. Could it be that they are
trying to insure better quality this time around? They recently
instituted a new bug-tracking process. In my opinion there has been
visible improvement in acknowledging and logging bugs, as well as
getting them fixed and sent on to beta testing. I am not privy to what
is going on in beta testing, but I only hope that processes there have
also been improved. I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
