Hi there! Can anyone confirm or deny these for me:
1. Communication sent between Tower and RCX via IR, is no different from normal TV pilot. I mean that it is or it isn't coded with RC5, frequency etc.? The only difference is that Tower and RCX comm is bidirectional. 2. When Tower or RCX is sending data, the receiver is or isn't blocked (not active) until sending will finish? If answer for both these question is "yes", then the best possible method to extend communication range, is to use two sets of IR-RF Pilots Extenders of some kind. To sets because we need bidirectional communication... If second argument isn't true, then I think that IR-RF Extenders can still be used, but working on different radio frequencies (very hard to find - I tried). Thanks in advance for answers.
