I don't know exactly what you mean by TV pilot,
but I can describe the RCX signal to you:

nothing means 1
38kHz means 0

On top of that the rest is standard asynchronous serial communication
at 2400 baud, 1 start bit, 8 data bits, odd parity, 1 stop bit.

AFAIK the RCX 2.0 will receive at 76kHz, for Spybot compatibility.

I'm not sure, and I'm too lazy (or too tired) to check now how it's handled.
In any case, the receiver will see the reflection of its own transmission,
so that has to be filtered out.
