Further to previous post. I just went and had a closer look. It looks
like these devices are mono-directional ie. There is a Transmitter end
that takes the IR signal from the remote and Transmits it as RF. And the
receiver that takes the RF and converts it back to the IR signal. The
Reciever has to be at the TV end and the Transmitter is where the remote
is to be used.
Also they work on 433 MHz and the ones we have here are made in Germany
going by all the German on the labels. :-)
