Hello again Swappers, I have for sale a very nice late 2009 white MacBook Unibody. This is the first of the, now discontinued, white unibody MacBooks. The second, later and final version of this MacBook, released in May 2010, was identical to this one, except for an step up to a 2.4ghz CPU. The white unibody MacBook has the all glass multi-touch trackpad, that facilitates all of the multi-finger gesture actions available in the Lion OS X 10.7 upgrade, and used even more in the upcoming Mountain Lion upgrade coming soon from Apple. This MacBook runs a 2.26ghz Core 2 Duo CPU on a 1.07ghz system bus, with 8GB RAM. Apple officially says this model maxes out at 4GB ram, but lots of people have found that 8GB 1066 ram runs fine, and I have installed 8GB, all recognized in the System Profiler, and the added ram does indeed run fantastically in this model, and makes running multiple programs simultaneously a true pleasure.
This MacBook has a small crack from the ethernet port up onto the top deck to the left of the keyboard, and a small crack near one of the hinge points on the display housing. These plastic cracks are not uncommon in these unibody MacBooks, and are purely cosmetic. Other than those two flaws, it is in beautiful condition, right down to the rubber bottom plate. Screen is bright, LED backlit and flawless. Ram has been upgraded from 2GB stock, to 8GB, and the Hard Drive is upgraded from the stock 250GB 5400 rpm, to a 7200rpm, 320GB hard drive. The SuperdDrive works great, too, as does the airport and bluetooth. This is a great running computer. I will sell the MacBook complete, with all original packing materials (OS disc, Application disc, paperwork, AC adapter, AC extension) packed in an Apple MacBook shipping box for safe transport, via Insured USPS Priority Mail to continental US only. Be ready for Mountain Lion with this multi-touch capable, and very fast MacBook. Thanks for your interest.
