there is no date set for a next stable release. The latest alpha release
from June needs further testing and some minor changes before it is ready.

It's not much that has to be done, but as we are only two developers and
rarely have free time to work on Lensfun, I cannot give any estimates when
it's ready.
If someone wants to get in and help, testing the latest alpha with various
applications and reporting problems and glitches would be a valuable
support for us. Also some feedback if our latest changes in the API make
sense in the context of the various applications would be good.

Background is, that my equipment is supported by lensfun, but that
does not arrive in my Linux distro (any distro), because lensfun's latest

is from 2015.
Is there anything I can do to help getting the release done.
