The Windows version crash at startup as a memory corruption appear while database is loaded. Sound like the crash must be fixed in git/master with an out of index with array.
We had two fixes commited to Git master lately. Could you please try latest master? This fixed the Windows issues for me.
I recommend to use static analyzer to detect this kind of glitch in source code : clang build-scan or cppcheck are enough.
Good hint, I will run these to check the Lensfun sources on occasion. Let us know if you have more problems, in particular on Windows. Lensfun is rarely used and tested on Windows.
