The grayed mode for nodes does not seem to be needed. The command mode provides an editing state where both headline editing and node traversal/movement key mapped commands can be executed from. Can the grayed mode be eliminated?
If the gray mode is needed for some reason or just too difficult to eliminate, can a command be provided to change from the grayed mode to the active command mode? This would enable users to map a key to perform the function instead of having to click on the node using the mouse.
