I would choose Ville's option two, where the install script installs
an executable script leo in /usr/local/bin or /usr/bin or ~/bin that
contains a one-liner to fire up leo from its root directory. And add
an uninstall script that removes the executable <wherever>/bin/leo so
as to make it easy for people to try out leo.
