Rev 1507 contains my latest attempt at minimizing scrolling. It seems
to work better. What do you think?

P.S. It looks like we should be able to avoid odious scrolling
options, that is, options that imply futzing with Leo's scrolling
code. It would be possible, however, to tell Qt to scroll to the top
or bottom of the screen by default. I'd rather not do that, though,
unless somebody really dislikes the present way.
