It took me awhile to realize that the tk tree jumps a bit when expanding or contracting nodes. The big difference isn't the scrolling and jumping, its the complete lack of flash. So I think we are trying to solve the wrong problem. If we can eliminate tree flash, I think we all will be completely happy.
