Status report on the prototype (not yet on the trunk). The new code only uses the s argument to recolor (the line being colored). The result is a huge collapse in complexity. Everything is easy again. Still to do: 1. The new code never calls h.setCurrentState so multi-line constructs are not colored properly. 2. The old colorizers haven't changed, and return the same values as always. As a result, the guts of the main line is unchanged. 3. No attempt has been made to create restarters. I don't anticipate any real difficulties. In short, the new approach appears to be a spectacular success. More later. My daughter graduated from high school yesterday and social obligations call :-) Edward But really, these are fairly small nits :-) The way forward is suddenly much clearer. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
