I think the initial document was visible also before workbook.leo was implemented, it was just the useless "untitled" document. It might be interesting to implement a "welcome.py" plugin; if leo was started without arguments, it would just show a listbox with recent documents, and close workbook.leo when launching the selected document. It could be an interesting Qt finger exercise for someone ;-) -- Ville M.
