Look, I'm just trying to help the development of Leo by reporting a few bugs. I care less than a donkey's fart in the universe about using Notepad, but I took the time to notify you about it nevertheless. The fact is that the possibility to use notepad is shown in the menu items in a plain vanilla install of Leo. The message you're sending out is mixed: on the one hand you advise to use a proper editor (this thread), on the other hand you advise to use notepad (Leo). So my counterproposal is to either fix the entry to edit the whole file in notepad in order to make it work just as well as the entry to edit only the node in notepad; or move the 'Edit with notepad'-entries into a plugin which can have a setting of which editor to use. Disable that plugin by default, so that people have the opportunity to first install a decent editor.
