OK, as a developer I can fiddle with the envirionment variables. But I hope to push Leo forwards to an even more flawless install story on MS Windows, such that even more people new to Leo (who don't have the time to fiddle like that and want to e.g. print their first mind-map presto) get enthousiastic. My advice is to either work around this 'bug of notepad' or avoid the mentioning of notepad in Leo's UI in the first place.
