Just to be contrary, I did find it interesting. Allowing for your obvious bias :-) what do you think is the best smartphone type platform for casual development in a sort of pythony / flossy / linuxy way? Is there anything out there that lets you develop in PyQt? Android or something from Nokia or FreeRunner? Anything that has any reasonable chance of running Leo, for example? Note that I don't use a cell phone, so the phone connectivity part is not really a consideration. Just looking for something a bit more portable than my eee pc. Ha, I can remember when pulling out anything PDA like in a meeting was always annoyingly attention attracting, but that time has past. Just ordered an iPod Touch 8GB, which was relatively cheap on woot.com, as a new PDA for my wife, who wants to carry her calendar around with. Currently she uses the Palm 4 desktop app., the palm device it came with died years ago. Looks like iPod Touch PIM desktop options might be Google Calendar or something. Anyway, that's not really relevant to the question above, as I assume iPod is closed and proprietary dev. wise.
