Let me summarize the various strands of this thread:

1.  Sharing info: The distinction between public and private .leo
files promises to simplify sharing.  Private files exist so that
developers can backup their personal data.  Public files will change
only when removing or inserting @thin files.

2. LeoDocs.leo: I shall investigate putting shared data into one or
(more likely) many .txt files.  These files would be the unit of
sharing.

3. Documentation: All documentation can be improved, but there is no
reasons to wait helplessly for something that may may never happen.
If you have a specific question, do your homework (at least try to
find the answers in the docs).  If you get frustrated (after more than
30 seconds of research), then by all means ask a specific question on
a separate thread.
