Many thanks for this excellent critique. Such things are useful, and energizing. One of the things I have intentionally taught my children is not to take "no" for an answer, at least not right away :-) Some of the best features of Leo happened because people like Kent and Ville kept educating me about proposals that I had originally misunderstood or dismissed. I invite you to do the same :-) If something is important to you, keep up the campaign and don't be discouraged by initial non-committal words from me. Leo's to-do list is long, but interesting new projects are always welcome. For example, I often wonder whether better integration with zodb might be good. I had forgotten all about your interest in couchDB. That says more about my memory than anything else... Besides persistence, action from users is also highly persuasive. We all have a to-do list that would take several lifetimes to complete, so any work on your part will certainly get my attention. It shows me you *really* care.
