No - I guess it could be made so, but if the leo text editor widget can
be made more modular, it's probably just as easy to persist multiple
editors in free layout.

But... now you want them tabbed... :-)

Actually you can make them permanent, either from the right-click
context menu on the button or the Move submenu on the tree context
menu.  Relies on unchanging gnx, so won't work for all node types.

Also note adding buttons / permanence to buttons doesn't mark the
outline dirty, so you have to explicitly save to get these things to
stick.

For the work I've been doing recently the hassle of making the buttons
each time (it's only ctrl-b in nodes of interest) is no worse than the
hassle of deleting buttons I don't need any more - because one day I'm
switching between one set of nodes, the next another, as I work on
different parts of an app.  But for other applications permanence would
be good, and maybe the already available permanence of these buttons
meets your needs.

Don't forget the @rclick button organizer node you commissioned some
time ago :-)
