Perhaps the Blender build environment is a kind of refutation of the
notion that C and Python even need to merge.  Sometimes details at non-
Python level just need to be confronted.  It's a challenge to my
intuitions, at any rate.

Anyway, building Leo into Blender (as a replacement for the utterly
lame editor) might be the best kind of advert for Leo.  It's a form of
marketing that appeals to the coder in me :-)

BTW, the scons build system looks very cool.  It's pure Python:
