Hello Henrik About missing parts in library, this can help: http://philohome.com/leoupd/leoupd.htm
Old parts disappearing: see http://philohome.com/lcdpl/lcdpl.htm I am not even sure the program still works on latest LeoCAD, but it gives some explainations on the problem. And yes, it is possible to see piece numbers, just select a part and you will see its number in the status bar. You may also type in a number in the parts palette to select it.
