I use one other app, mgdiff, but I'm pretty close to having a better
replacement for that.

I've done a bit of GTK+ programming and while its really horrible
using it from C, from high level languages (my preference is Ocaml)
its actually quite nice.

I can use vi/vim to do small edits, but for coding, my fingers
are married to nedit which I've been using for 12 years.
