M*tif is a much better term and it's well understood. Simply replace
the 'o' with a '*' and it does not breach copyrights.
To me, the term "tif" is a image format. Stop trolling this list like
you did with the Linux kernel mailing list, Richard, with your stupid
suggestion for Windows-style floppy handling! Why don't you go bug
Bill Gates about issues with Y2K's kerberos implementation? This is
the sort of thing you should be concerned with, not nit-picking about
minor issues like this.
