Okay, I've stayed out of this one for a while, but I stopped by the local on
the way home tonight, and think it's time to spout off :) We may not agree with
everything that RMS has to say, but we do owe him a hell of a lot. If it wasn't
for his opinion we wouldn't be where we are today. I'll admit that I think the
Tif suggestion is a little far fetched, and don't really agree with it, at this
point, but to tell you the truth, I've also heard a lot worse suggestions. Even
though most of the files in the LessTif dist. have a copyright belonging to the
FSF, he didn't say "though shalt refer to yourself as Tif", he said "hey how
about".....Which puts himself in the same league as any of the other millions
of people able to make a suggestion. We either run with it, ignore it, or offer
opinions of our own that counter it.

Anyway, I thank RMS for his opinions, even though I don't agree with them all,
and don't think we would be enjoying what we have today without them...

I suspect that this time would have been better spent fixing the TearOff menu
problems, but a rant every now and then makes you feel pretty good also......
later......
