Hi,
I am moving all of my lists to 4.07, but I must say, the
documentation is pretty skimpy!
I have installed 4.07 on my Macintosh Xserve where I am using EIMS
3.3 as the mail server. I have all of my mail lists set up. And all
but just a few of these are moderated lists with a private post
address where that message then goes out to that address list.
For example, [EMAIL PROTECTED] is the mail account where the
message gets posted to and then mailed out to the list from the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] account.
So here is what I am seeing in my Server Window (over and over)
09/29 21:23:11 [138] - pop3 recv: checking for mail
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
09/29 21:23:11 [139] - pop3 recv: checking for mail
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
09/29 21:23:11 [138] - pop3 recv: ERROR!! the connection was refused
by the remote host (-32002)
09/29 21:23:11 [139] - pop3 recv: ERROR!! the connection was refused
by the remote host (-32002)
OR
In this instance, I have checked the passwords in both LetterRip and
in EIMS to make sure they are the identical. Yet I see -
09/29 21:23:11 [138] - pop3 recv: checking for mail
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
09/29 21:23:11 [139] - pop3 recv: checking for mail
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
09/29 21:23:11 [138] - pop3 recv: ERROR!! -ERR [AUTH] authentication
failed
09/29 21:23:11 [139] - pop3 recv: ERROR!! -ERR [AUTH] authentication
failed
Any suggestions or help would really be appreciated!!
