Why should I follow BLFS standards. When BLFS doesn't respect the
requests of the other
community members. ie fam. BLFS just seems to do what they want to, and
don't care what
others think. Why should I respect BLFS boundaries, when BLFS couldn't
even agree to a
simple compromise that was suggested.
Of course, there very well may need to be some additions/addendum
required in BLFS to support multiple-arches, but I don't see a
big need to provide 'cross' instructions. Native instructions
should work. Right?
For the most part yes, but some additional patches are required for some
architectures. Some
of them may required extra GCC options.
