 Actually, I meant something like DESTDIR=/usr/local or even /opt/32 -
reading through fedora's X patches the other night suggested 6.8.2
wasn't there yet.

 I don't know (my last build based on Ryan's scripts sort of worked in
64-bit, but 32-bit was mostly broken).  My impression was that
glib2/gtk2 link against some of the X libs, and so 32-bit X would be
needed.  All I know for certain is that the realplayer installer looked
for 32-bit gtk2 libraries.
