Hi,
Just had a look and Side Effects Software has a public Beta of Houdini-8.0.x
available for x86-64 debian!
It's a big tar-ball, containing two install scripts and another tar-ball with
the software in it. I don't think it's actually a .deb, I think it's just the
program compiled for Debian sid ready to be un-tarred into a Debian system.
The web site also lists exactly what libs and utils were on the system it's
compiled for, so it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out how to shoe-horn
this into an LFS/BLFS system.
So I'll have something interesting to play with and make use of the CPU power
and memory (-;
Yay! Have you got a gallery online of all the stuff you've been doing
since you started with CGI?
Has posting via the newsgroups been reenabled yet? It's /really/
annoying not being able to post in an easy way.
Hmmm.. It would appear not... This is soooo annoying.
Regards,
@ndy
