No, the book doesn't suggest lying about mercury allergies. I thought it would be an effective way of avoiding mercury from medical sources.
There seems to be a very long argument from both sides. There have been tests on sheep, dogs, and chimps, showing that mercury in their body increases from dental fillings. The World Health Organization, Federal Drug Administration, and their counterparts in Germany, Austria, and Sweden, have found that mercury does leech out of dental fillings. Mercury fillings are now banned in those three countries. It's also a danger to the dentists. A pregnant dental student in California gave birth to a child with mercury poisoning, caused by her 4 year exposure to mercury vapors in the dental school. Just like lead, there's no safe threshhold for mercury exposure. And although we get lead and mercury from other sources it's best to avoid it whenever possible. robert On January 1, 2006 09:34 am, Jason Gurtz wrote: > On 1/1/2006 00:14, Robert Connolly wrote: > > My dentist lent me a book named "A Mouth Full of Poison - The Truth About > > Mercury Amalgam Fillings".
