I said that i used the ones of the book. I took them from one of their mirrors what I said too.


I'm sorry, I forgot that the stable book does use 2.6.11. In any case, that's not likely to be the issue, assuming that the headers are in fact correctly installed into /tools/include. It is possible that it's a host system issue. What host distro are you using?

This is the Output of gcc --version:
gcc (GCC) 4.1.0

I'm using Mandriva 2006 Free Edition

I think they are correctly installed, they are not compiled only copied.

And I'm Sorry if this is the wrong list. When I searched the lfs site about "glibc make error" I got another Thread (but with an make check error) that was on this list so I thought I'm right here. --
