Though I cannot remember one support issue raised by someone who
naively linked a debugger into an application, I don't see any
harm in segregating the dependenc{y,ies} into a "Optionally used
for debugging support (ensure you really want this/these)".
Though it seems that it a lot of work for relatively very little
gain.
