OK, I see that discussion about write and partx but I don't see anything 
about arch.  The arch parameter is in clfs, but I don't see any 
discussion about why it's there.

Perhaps we should just drop it since neither util-linux nor coreutils 
builds it normally and it probably could be replaced with an alias or 
script that just does `uname -m`.
