But this one *is* a new (this year) AMD : A10-7850K ;-)  My intended
point was that I do not remember seeing the vlen tests failing before
(maybe they are new ?).  My jaundiced view is that things have got
better on intel CPUs in the past 2 or 3 years, but worse on AMD
(starting with the change to the cpufrq governor).

At the moment I don't know what it does (so, no idea where to group
it), nor how commonly it fails / on what hardware.
