It's based on LFS (LFS 8.2 for this version), it's multi-lib, and it will boot on any BIOS/UEFI systems on DVD or USB stick. The ISO file is isohybrid and you can just "dd" it for quick testing. http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/web/ Download latest beta here: http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/pre-release/800beta/ If you need to compile stuff (or manpages) get the fd64-devx_800b.sfs too. If you get lost you'll get basic information here: http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/web/faqs/faq.html Disclaimer: I'm one of the maintainers. Apology in advance if this kind of posting is not acceptable in the list. I don't usually advertise my own distro but seeing that it meets the particular needs that Ken is asking, it is indeed based on LFS, I thought I'd share. -- James B -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
