I 'm not really sure about this (and if it is related somehow),but today i was trying from the LFS live cd to copy a fresh LFS build from my external drive, into my laptop's hard drive. It's a laptop with an intel i810 video driver. While i was doing that from Xfce,i recieved some buffer I/O errors,so i was unable to do anything. It happened twice in Xfce. I rebooted and working from console for quite some time, everything was fine. Maybe try to repost in the live-cd mailing list and report the eror,i think it is X related issue in the live-cd. -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
