I can't build LFS-6.1.1 all in one sitting as the book presumes. On this system 1SBU>25min, and I couldn't dedicate a large enough chunk of time and have to use the computer for other things between when I would start and when it would finish. There don't seem to be any clues how to handle this situation in 6.2-3 & 6.8. I don't think I'd mind having the real /dev populated with the stuff in 6.8, that would seem to make it simpler, until udev & the bootscripts are ready to take over. Any suggestions, please?
