Hi group,

Just starting with LFS and I am confused about how to get started.
There is a ton of docs.
I have read most of them but can find the starting point. What I want to
do is:

    1. Build a custom image of linux simular to OpenWRT or TinyCore.
    2. Be able to test the image on my laptop.
    3. Run the image on a Ubiquity RouterStation from that USB Pen drive.
    4. Be able to compile for x86 or Atheros CPUs.
    5. Add my applications to the build.

I have tried to use OpenWRT but it is too unstable and I can't get it
to compile repeatedly.
I like the idea behind LFS and would like to explore all of the options.
LFS offers better
control over the process.

I have the CD and have booted it.

Is there a 'Village Idots' guide to getting started?

  Thanks for your time.
