 A few comments.

1. Please don't top-post, and trim what you are replying to.

2. LFS only supports running on x86 (it used to support ppc, but that
was dropped before LFS-3).  Many of us have run something like LFS
on other architectures, but you need to understand what it is you are
doing.

3. Take a look at cross-lfs, but be aware that it is much closer to the
bleeding edge, and not well suited to people on their first build who
are likely to need help.

4. I'm not convinced that an LFS or cross-lfs system will be right for
you - the books give you an absolute minimum, neither approaches
what is in a distro (that's also true for both BLFS and cblfs).  If you
want to understand how things fit together, and are willing to then
take the time to sort out how to build the other things you want in
your finished system, they're great.

5. If your router and laptop are not both x86, you won't be able to
run the same binaries on both of them.
