hi friends
I have an idea of doing "Linux distro" as my final year project.
Will it be better if i start with any already installed linux OS or by
using the LFS(Linux From Scratch) live cd directly?
If i use any linux OS which would do better for creating distro?
Thanks in advance

Assuming you are interested in making something like BaviLinux (a
personal distribution of Linux), I would think LFS would be a perfect
place to start.
If what you are intending is not another distribution of Linux (well, to
be technically correct it would be a Linux/GNU distribution), then you
will have to provide more information as to what you are really trying
to do.
BTW -- Just for the record, if I was your senior year advisory, I would
strongly suggest you find another project. With sites like LFS there is
very little research or work that you would have to do to make your own
distribution of Linux. Just saying that from my perspective, it seems
that making a Linux distribution seems a relatively weak final year
project in my opinion.
