Hi,

If you run the following command:

ip link

Does it give any output than:

0: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,10000> mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue
    link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00

If so, you need to re-compile the kernel - go into:

Device Drivers -> Network Device Support>

Choose the section (10/100/1000) fitting you networkcard, and select the appropriate driver, re-compile, install and reboot.

./Cosis

Hi,

I successfully followed LFS-book-6.8 and i'm able to boot and log-in to LFS. But while booting up it says:

"interface eth0 doesn't exist [WARN]"

Bringing up eth0 fails

Ofcourse i'm not able to connect to internet as well. What am i missing in my new LFS system.
