I've only ever tried dropping in _just_ the server on recent builds. Mostly, it requires one or two current versions - for 1.17, xtrans (no idea what _that_ requires compared to old versions), and when I updated my ati driver on one system that was still using the previous version it needed current libdrm. > > I think maybe I said, I'm prepping for the GTK path now.
